Final Burn Alpha 0.05 alpha For PocketPc/Smartphones And Now Gizmondo Unit.

First off, go here for credits, and then down load the 3 files:

This is the FBAUDS.EXE file for PC, this is for making the cache files (Its a lot better this way)
Then Head over to:

And get the FULL FinalBurn Emulator for PC (Just Hit the download icon)

Unzip the FULL FinalBurn Emulator to a temp folder, then unzip the fbauds.part01.rar into the same temp folder as FULL FinalBurn.

Now load your roms into the PC emu and see if thay make a cache file, if thay do check the file is under 26 megabytes, if it is then this will work for the giz version (only CPS 2 and some NeoGeo roms make a cache).

Once you have installed the giz version you can copy the cache file from the pc version to your giz sd card cache and that save's time (and a bug).

You don't have to do this on a PC with FinalBurn PC emulator, it can be done with the giz, BUT there are some problems doing it this way, 1 is if the cache is to big for gizzes little memory it will d**ky fit (Put up an out of memory requester and not work for that game), 2 when its creating the cache it dont seem to be doing eneything, so wait about 5 to 10 mins and then click the X up the top to close, NOT THE CANCEL Button as it does not save the cache and your have to do it again............

Gizmondo Final Burn will load from Fireflys launcher and Zektor Launcher, it will load Windows CE mode for you and load eCursor.

If you have never used Windows CE mode before don't worry its safe and the launcher does all the work for you, so heres how to hide the taskbar, so it don't get in the way:

1:

Click START, then SETTINGS then TASKBAR AND START MENU with your cursor.

2:

Make sure AUTO HIDE and ALWAYS ON TOP are ticked, Then just off the screen click OK with cursor.

3:

Click START and then SUSPEND, wait for screen to go black, wait for a few seconds then hold your POWER Button for about 10+ seconds.

We SUSPEND for the settings to be saved to the registy (never forgets to hide the taskbar then).

Now Hold Down HOME + POWER for about 10+ seconds and this will reboot your giz.

Once giz has loaded up, launch FinalBurn.

Set your sound settings:


Then Click Button OK.

If you what your sound settings saved after a reboot or power on, then do the SUSPEND (No 3:), but you don't have to reboot again.

Now you can load a rom:


make sure you have some roms installed to your SD CARD\FinalBurn\Roms\
Tick the SHOW ONLY AVAILABLE, then RESCAN (Rescan every time you add roms to folder)
Click once on a rom file then buttom OK button.


And now its playing a game.

Now if its a rom file that i have'nt tryed then the keys will not work, so download and follow these instructions:



To quit FinalBurn do this:


Bring up your taskbar then click the second blank icon with REWIND button, a close option should appear, now highlight this and click PLAY Button, now it will quit (Metal Slug Crashes here, dont worry just press RIGHT TRIGGER and wait a while it will quit..

To play a game you will need to hide eCursor, Just press you POWER button once to hide the cusor, press it once again to unhide the cursor.

If you press the RIGHT TRIGGER of you giz it will pause the game, you then need to unhide the cursor and click on the game screen to unpause the game (so don't press RIGHT TRIGGER).
Then Hide the cursor again.

I think thats it, i hope i've not missed something here.................

Unzip file, copy FinalBurn FOLDER to root of SD CARD and use launcher to play.........
If using Zektors launcher then it will reappear, just press your STOP button to quit it.........
