I downloaded Final Burn Alpha from Gizmondo Central - V0.1.1 & am running it through GizMenu
I've installed it - and I seem to have done it right, as it will load up!
(note I have two programs - Final Burn, and Final Burn Go - both load up and do exactly the same thing)

I am testing it with Alien vs Predator - it loads, it plays through the demo modes and seems to run at full speed,
But no matter what I do, I can't actually play it - none of the buttons do anything except the right trigger (pause emulation) and the alarm button (brings up the cursor). I have theReapers key guide settings, and have changed the listing in the cfg file to as Reaper listed & rescanned - but nothing.

And because none of the buttons seem to do anything, I can't quit out (or hold down the power button for 10 seconds) I have to take the battery out each time!

Can anyone help me? I'm sure I'm missing something simple or doing something wrong, but at this point I'm buggeres if I know what!

It was so long ago and in truth i really don't know what is going wrong, but as i could never get AvP to work your one up on me, have you tried other games, so not much help, also i always run my apps/games/emulators using Win CE Mode that way you could close the emulator, but if you hold your power button + home button down for 10+ seconds your giz should close down and reboot, no need to pull battery......
