Hello, everyone! I'm new here, and I came looking for some assistance solving a problem with my Gizmondo, but you guys seem nice enough, so I will stick around, anyway. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I just got my Giz yesterday after looking for one for ages on EBay. If I can eventually manage to get homebrew running on it, I think it will have been a wise purchase!

Congrats on the new Giz. I'm afriad theres not much life left in these forums. But the few stragglers that remain are generally friendly and helpful. Enjoy your Giz (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Well, there's not a whole lot I can do with it until I figure out how to make it read my SD card... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) |

Hey Lisalover! Same here!
Got fed up waiting for my Pandora (http://openpandora.org/ if for some reason you don't know about it although I've currently been waiting since October 2009 for mine!) and on a whim got a Gizmondo from the ebay, mostly for curiosity value but am now trying to see if I can get it up and running. Have you had any success? I've just purchased a Pay as you go SIM card as it seems to be the only way to get the thing onto a menu screen although I have to wait for the battery to charge up before I can pop it in (my own mobile SIM didn't seem to work). I've found a great resource of the games on http://www.theoldcomputer.com/roms/index.p...=Tiger/Gizmondo although am having trouble un-archiving them and am not sure where on my SD card I should un-archive them to? Feel like (and am) a total newb here! Any quick-start thoughts from the Forum? Thanks in advance Jim www.jimlefevre.com |
