Haha looking back at the doomsday message I left on the forums 5th birthday (missed the 6th birthday. oops) made me laugh. showed how I totally forgot to make it happen.
Anyway the forums are obviously still functional and I guess will remain so until the sun explodes... or I stop paying for website hosting.

Glad to see Gizmondos still on sale on Ebay, rather amusing they're still getting a decent price (£50) I doubt we will ever see a return of the Gizmondo, It is well and truly buried, a little like that poor Ferrari Enzo now rotting in an LA dumping yard.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone, seems funny people still visit here just to check out Gizmondo and these forums for a little nostalgia fix. I doubt anyone will remember Gizmondo long term unless it's for the extortionate amount of money they lost... good times.

Still on my Xbox 360 (second one mind) rarely play anything else... maybe a little Minecraft o_0 I've kind of given up on handheld gaming its really been overshadowed now by the mobile phone gaming market. Iphones, Android etc will be interesting to see what happens to Nintendo after their shocking E3 announcements and in my opinion poor 3DS sales.

Handheld gaming has become stale , we need a new system by a new forward thinking company to enter the arena, someone stong enough to take on the big boys and win.

The only handheld gaming I do is when I'm lonely on a friday night. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Bad sex jokes aside, I think mobile games are gaining ground on dedicated consoles. Look at the 3DS prices, 40 quid for a game. As Penny Arcade put it, "You go spend 40 bucks on a 3DS game, and I'll spend 40 bucks on 40 iPhone games, and we'll see who has more fun".

In other news, is anyone here on Google+ yet? We could all add each other to a Gizmondo circle.

Yup still visiting occasionally, trying to help if poss.

Shame the Giz has had it's day, but that's progress I guess.
We have moved on to shinier things at my place (but seem to be enjoying the "retro-feel" of Minecraft too, Trev).

Nice to see some familiar names passing by though. Count me in for any Giz nostalgia sites, forums and knitting-circles.

I'm still here with my Giz - in fact I was playing the counter strike doom mod last night. Good times :-)

Yay i still visit on occasions, just rarely post anything. I remember when the new giz was announced and I was like "what the hell is android", three years later and it is like the greatest smart OS out at the moment.
Handheld gaming may be stale at the moment but the vita looks like an absolute beast!

Maybe too much of a beast. It looks to me like they're taking a page from Gizmondo's book with the 3 hour battery life :/
