Hi CD-I/All,
I knew of the German connection, as CD-I very kindly asked me a while ago if he could use some of my guides on his site. Once had look around, found his site very interesting and good.... (IMG:https://gizmondoforums.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) However, (appologies) didnt check back there until now.... and WOW!!! Good interview.... prolly the most we have heard Carl speak so far..... Admittedly, he is still very dark horse about the whole affair, and guess will be until October. I just hope its gonna be as big and sucessful as they think its gonna be. And to be honest, if its handled correctly this time around, it has every reason to be big. Sure people knock it now, but they are comparing the likes of the technology back then to the likes we have today. C'mon, give Giz a chance, it came out far ahead of its compettiers.... it had ideas that even the current systems STILL dont have today... so what, they can be bought and added latter at a extra cost and size difference. Gizmondo, if you do the right things there is still a market for you guys..... JUST DONT MESS UP!!!!! Cheers, Lister |

On the OS side, There was only ever going to be WinCe 6.0.. Android was never set in stone to be complete.. If they can get Android out on time, I'll definatly look into getting that OS, if its not ready in time for launch, its no biggie! (for me personally)
I think Carl being ''not sure'' with the old games, is this, If GizStudPrez does own the Ip to some of the old games, Carls answer would be 'not sure'' especially as hes gotta negotiate with GSP to get the rights back.. At least thats what id say it was down too. more stuff for old fans could literally mean anything. Even a free old carry case!! lol. But if its free and has a Gizmondo logo on it, Im not complaining.. (IMG:https://gizmondoforums.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Im in agreement with you on the hoping things are cleared up and confirmed, Though didnt i read that the website was mid October, an the full specs were end of October? |

Hi CBadds,
Anything better than NOTHING!!! then I take it...?? lol Yeah, c'mon Carl baby.... get posting on the web, start ya advertising sooner rather than later, if ya want this to take off, and with a launch so close to Xmas ya want people to be talking about it sooner rather than later. And bearing in mind, this can only be bought over the web and not in the stores, those who wonna by pressies for their children arnt so much gonna look around the web for something their dont even know or looking for exists.... So start with those ANNOYING pop ups, or plastered on various website/pages, get the Giz name noticed again..... its better to be in ya face, than not heard at all.... if the product is that good, it will sell itself. If its badly marketed, but is higher spec than others and goes un-noticed will be a sad fate of justice again. So get ya marketting team buzzing.... then ya can work on ya retail side line... (IMG:https://gizmondoforums.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:https://gizmondoforums.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Cheers, Lister

Hi CD-I,
I think I have seen this, or summit very like it before.... although its good seeing it again, as I did forget about it.... But what I wonna know is how can summit like this exist...?? I mean, the casing is EXACTLY the same as the Gizmondo albiet the new 2x buttons in the bottom... but the rest is the same. Have they blatently stole the pattern, or did they buy the rights to use the same shell (think not). It is so odd..... For English Users - above page, but in English Gizmondo 2 Spec - (IMG:https://gizmondoforums.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Cheers, Lister |
