Wahoo, for once I am the first to reply.... even after gettin in from work!! lol We waited 4x days for this??? Not sure about the branding/website just yet. The pic doesnt really do it justice enough at that size, hopefully a bigger shot or maybe the real thing will act better... I think I liked the old one better, but who knows, this could all change. Whats interesting to me is that the pics are called Gizmondo 2.7, is that how many takes it took to get the website they liked, or is it built/based on the model of Gizmondo we are at...??? i think static images always make flash sites look weird i sent my critasisms to rich but i tihnk its a good first website to present the new gizmondo
the site reminds me of http://www.neostream.com/ warning might be a long load. |

Have to say I don't like it at all lol I like the old design much better, people aren't bothered with all these flash sites anymore, more of a passing fad than anything, It's all too dark and mysterious, which i suppose suits Gizmondo Inc!
To me it looks like it's one man's flashy tech website of things he made in his garage or something lol rather than a corporate handheld website.....thats my opinion....bring back the old website style! |

I admit, i do like the old sites look, it was clean and easy to navigate. if you have a slow internet, this flash site will be a bummer to load.
Though trev, Im not sure on the teletubbies!! LMAO |

Hi All,
As said above, I never got to see the original official site way back when, but from what I have seen across the web of the old site, I do prefer the old one far more than this new one.... not sure, but the new one seems to be targetting kids more than the original teen-adult market. Who knows, we are on 2.7 of the site, so it could all change again before the release.... lol - although, was this the "new funky good site" we've all been waiting for...? I'm prepared to wait a bit longer I think.... lol Anyway, I think the icon no one knows anything about is an icon for me.... I think its GPS / Location based services, as it looks like the < Steering Wheel > (lol, aint got a clue of its real official name) of a boat. So could be longitude/latitude and all that kinda thingie..... after all, they keep going on (like me) about GPS, and so far not a mention of it... that icon is for me!!!!! hmmm, actually ya know if you look at the 2 images, you have what im presuming is the ''main'' menu. then the other image with the pic of Giz in the corner, that could be the sub menu of the ''encounter, meet gizmondo'' button.. as its in the right corner..?

it be my 20" rims yo! bling bling lmao ships wheel. gizmondo goes nautical!
nah the GPS icon is in the other side with the radar. so the ship wheel would be extra effort/doesnt make sense for the designer to make a new icon... trust me we are a lazy bunch (IMG:https://gizmondoforums.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) webdesigners wouldnt do that. yep gizmydoh my thought exactly (IMG:https://gizmondoforums.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) tho one pointer on your icon for the "S"/hourglass if you notice the circle is a arrow going anti clockwise.... oooo timemachine! |

Ahhh i see your point so clearly now.. an anti time glass.. I think you could be right there, with the ''pre 2005'' are you thinking games that were to come? like Colors, Supernatural. etc.. then have a complete new section for new games an stuff.. kinda like Xbox Arcade for the old stuff..? |

pretty interesting design for the website. i have a feeling though that it is just a template site that they pasted the Gizmondo name on. hopefully this wont show in the finished product.
